Occupational Therapist Leadership Role in Neurosciences

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to lead our team of professionals in the Neurosciences department at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a full-time opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent communication and organisational abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

As Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients with complex needs, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans. You will also be required to support the development of junior staff members, including students and assistants.

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive clinical experience, particularly in acute hospital settings, and a strong understanding of current legislation and its application to Occupational Therapy. Additionally, experience in team and service development, as well as supervising staff, is highly desirable.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including flexible working, training and development opportunities, and a supportive environment that values diversity and inclusion.
