Exciting Opportunity for a Graduate Teaching Assistant

LTF Recruitment is delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join one of our partnered secondary schools. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about education and want to gain valuable experience in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with varying additional learning needs and prior attainment levels across a variety of capacities.
  • Maintain and actively boost high academic and behavioural expectations.
  • Mentor and coach pupils in the development of their self-confidence and aspirations for their future.
  • Work cooperatively with all staff members to support every pupil to succeed.
  • Support and lead learning activities, developing the ability to teach whole classes in future.
Requirements:
  • Experience is not essential; experience around young people is desirable.
  • Committed personality and approach to working with young people.
  • Ability to remain positive and calm during difficult challenges/situations.
  • Experience working in a primary environment is desired, but not necessary.
