**Job Summary**
Reed Recruitment is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Warehouse Assistant. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Colchester.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Welcome delivery trucks and ensure a smooth receiving process.
- Track and manage shipments, including loading product onto delivery trucks using appropriate tools.
- Accommodate and carefully handle product to prevent damage.
- Document exact shipment arrival and departure times.
- Tag and label merchandise according to size, shape, and type.
- Box, wrap, and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards.
- Prepare all orders for shipment.
- Record and manage impaired or damaged merchandise items.
- Operate merchandise management tools and enter data in inventory and logistics software programs.
**Requirements**
- A valid full driving license with a maximum of 6 points to be eligible for business insurance.
**Working Hours**
Monday to Thursday: 8:30am to 5pm
Friday: 8:30am to 1:30pm
