Special Needs Assistant

Job Summary
">We are seeking a dedicated and caring Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at Key Stage 2.
About the Role
">- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with ASD, assisting them with their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate effectively with the class teacher and other members of the school's support staff, sharing insights and observations to inform planning and provision of support.
- Engage in professional development opportunities, staying up to date with best practices and strategies in supporting students with ASD.
- Adhere to the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
">- Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent qualification.
- Passion for supporting learners with ASD.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Dedicated and reliable individual.
