Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator to join our team at GI Pro. As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring production processes, ensuring optimum running conditions, and resolving machine-related production/quality issues in an efficient and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor production processes to ensure optimum running conditions
  • Perform tooling changeovers and maintain quality in accordance with specification
  • Resolve machine-related production/quality issues in an efficient and timely manner
  • Provide efficient end-of-shift handovers and produce high-quality extruded products
  • Assist with extrusion trials and help to achieve optimum production
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workplace and adhere to good housekeeping practices
  • Measure and record quality checks and monitor product quality throughout each shift
  • Follow and understand operating procedures and setting sheets for extruded products
Requirements
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control
