Job Title: Personal Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and patient individual to provide care and support to a young lady with White Sutton Syndrome and Autism. The successful candidate will work as part of a wider team to ensure the lady remains safe and independent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including washing, bathing, and feeding
- Support the lady with her communication and socialisation needs
- Keep records of feeds, water, and medication administered
- Deal with difficult or challenging behaviour
- Administer medication
- Complete MARS sheets and medical records
- Attend medical appointments and work in hospital to support if stays or visits are required
Requirements:
- Experience of working with individuals with Autism and challenging behaviour
- Ability to provide personal care and support
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Full UK driving license and ability to drive a motability equipped car
