The Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our day-to-day production activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our production lines, driving improvements in manufacturing efficiency, and managing staff, production schedules, and quality control.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, with experience in managing staff, production schedules, and quality control. They will be proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the performance of our production lines to ensure smooth, efficient operations with minimal downtime.
  • Continuously identify areas for improvement in line performance, waste reduction, and process optimisation.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the production team, ensuring team members are well-trained and meeting performance targets.
  • Work in close co-ordination with the planning team to create and execute production schedules that balance customer demand with optimal line utilisation.
  • Uphold the company's high-quality standards by enforcing compliance with food safety regulations, such as HACCP, BRC, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Be responsible for and oversee a safe working environment, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Logistics and Procurement teams to effectively manage operational budgets and control labour and material costs.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to multitask.
  • Comfort working with multiple groups within the business.
