Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to provide administrative support to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and Neurodevelopmental Team (ND) in the East area.
The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. They will be responsible for providing administrative support, including copy typing, electronic/paper diary management, and arranging appointments.
Main Duties
The CAMHS & ND Admin Assistant will provide an efficient and flexible service support to the CAMHS & ND Multi-Disciplinary teams. This will include:
- Copy typing
- Electronic/paper diary management
- Arranging appointments
The post-holder will also be expected to undertake reception duties occasionally and maintain strict confidentiality at all times. They will be required to deal with patients, carers, relatives, medical staff, and other visitors to the unit, in person and in writing, with courtesy and discretion.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- A good standard of education
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Previous experience of working in a busy office environment
