Job Description:

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neuro Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Sensible Staffing. As a Neuro Speech and Language Therapist, you will work with adults with acquired neurological diagnoses, specifically stroke, to provide expert care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat adults with acquired neurological diagnoses, including stroke, to improve communication and swallowing skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Conduct home visits to provide therapy services in a patient's natural environment.
  • Manage both dysphagia and communication impairment post-stroke, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Experience working with adults with acquired neurological diagnoses, specifically stroke.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and techniques for treating dysphagia and communication impairment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
