Veterinary Care and Animal Companion Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team at Vets for Pets in New Malden. This full-time role comes with a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will assist colleagues with non-clinical duties to ensure the smooth running of the practice and provide exceptional patient care, including animal handling and responding to phone inquiries.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with tasks that support the efficient operation of the practice
- Provide outstanding patient care and handle animals with care and attention
- Respond to phone calls and interact with clients in a friendly and welcoming manner
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Experience working with animals (advantageous but not essential)
- A friendly and approachable demeanor when interacting with clients and their pets
- Calmness, attentiveness, and focus on meeting the needs of pets and clients
- Enthusiasm and drive to excel in your role
- The ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively
