As a Mechanical and Electrical Fitter, you will be a key member of the Manchester South team supporting the largest overhaul of the UK electricity grid in generations. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that is upgrading the electricity grid to make it fit for the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of new equipment
  • Refurbishment and maintenance of existing equipment
  • Fault investigation and repair
  • Routine condition monitoring

Requirements:

  • A minimum Level 2/3 recognised apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • An NVQ/Level 3 electrical or mechanical qualification with relevant fitting experience
  • Good all-round engineering skills
  • A Full UK Driving Licence
