Housing Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Housing Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s team in Preston. As a key member of the construction team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality housing projects.
Responsibilities:- Develop and manage detailed cost plans and estimates for housing projects.
- Maintain project costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Manage variations and claims throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and submit accurate interim and final accounts to stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and identify potential issues that may impact project timelines or budgets.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying within the social housing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, including JCT and NEC.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive decision-making and optimize project outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in construction software, including Excel, CostX, and Asite.

The salary range for this position is £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
