Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Crane & Lifting Equipment Engineer Surveyor to cover the Reading and Oxford area. This role involves visiting client sites to ensure all equipment meets Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is from £40,500 + Company Car Allowance £5,500. The company offers a comprehensive training structure with internal and external training programs, as well as opportunities for career progression.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • An HNC (or Equivalent) in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Marine, or Automotive Engineering is preferred; however, candidates with a NVQ Level 3 and significant experience may be considered.
  • Hands-on experience in maintaining, servicing, and repairing crane and lifting equipment is required.
  • Knowledge of LOLER & PUWER regulations is essential.
  • The ability to work unsupervised and make decisions on equipment condition and future use is necessary.
  • Candidates must be able to work at height and in confined spaces.
  • A strong relationship-building skills and ability to influence customers are also required.
