Job Title: Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioner to join our team in the Day Case Theatre at Tavistock Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe preparation and organisation of the peri-operative pathway ward area.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the clinical care of patients without supervision, incorporating the standards and philosophy of the Theatre Suite. You will also continuously reassess patients' needs and re-evaluate care, prioritising planned care appropriately.

Main Duties:
  • Prepare and maintain a clean and efficient operating theatre environment.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the peri-operative phases.

You will have the opportunity to work across different theatre specialities and participate in various procedures, including general surgery, ENT, Urology, Plastics, Colorectal, and Gynaecology.

Competitive Salary: Approximately £34,000 - £46,000 per annum.
