NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is a leading healthcare provider in the UK, employing thousands of staff in various clinical and non-clinical roles. Our organization delivers a wide range of healthcare services, including acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health care, to a population of over 1.15 million.

This is a permanent, part-time position with a 30-hour workweek, featuring a shift pattern of three nights per week. Salary will be pro-rata for part-time hours.

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will provide support to patients in their own homes overnight, primarily focusing on patients receiving end-of-life care at home.

NHS Scotland is transitioning to a 37-hour working week, with a reduction in full-time working hours from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024.
