Job Summary:

We are seeking a Quality Control Engineer to join our team at Pin Point Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving improvements in shopfloor quality, conducting internal audits, and monitoring supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement formal procedures based on best practice to drive improvements in shopfloor quality.
  2. Conduct internal audits and support purchasing with supplier audits.
  3. Monitor and support performance improvement through data capture and reporting.
  4. Establish supplier quality performance criteria and monitor supplier performance.
  5. Ensure compliance with ISO9001.
  6. Conduct quality meetings and provide feedback.
  7. Identify new processes and equipment to streamline production and provide cost reductions.
  8. Monitor and control local quality training within the department and factory.
  9. Report the status of technical related debit notes to Management.
  10. Design and/or modify QMS documents.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in manufacturing and assembly environment and techniques.
  2. Familiarity with best practices in storage, movement, and handling of metal components, assemblies, and finished products.
  3. Driven with the ability to plan and deliver to meet project deadlines.
  4. Commercial and financial awareness.
  5. Good IT skills and familiar with MS Office packages.
