SmartIR is seeking a highly skilled Embedded & Electronics Engineer to contribute to our cutting-edge projects.

**Job Description:**

  • Electronic Integration: Work on the development and integration of our proprietary IR devices to ensure reliable performance and meet customer requirements.
  • Technology Advancement: Contribute to the advancement of SmartIR's core technology, improving its Technology Readiness Levels (TRL).
  • Customer and Stakeholder Interaction: Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery and meet project requirements.
  • Project Development Support: Assist in the design, manufacture, and integration of SmartIR solutions, as well as their integration into end-user applications.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.

The Successful Candidate will have:

  • **Embedded Programming Skills:** Proficient in Embedded C and/or Embedded C++.
  • **Electronic Design Expertise:** Experienced in both analogue and digital electronic design.
  • **Circuit Design & Component Knowledge:** A solid understanding of analogue and digital circuits, electronic components, and microcontroller datasheets.
  • **Salary:** £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
  • **Location:** Based at the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC), Manchester - lab based.
  • **Working Hours:** 7 hours per day - core hours between Tues - Thurs with flex on Mondays & Fridays.
