About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our growing MI and Analytics team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting business-critical decision making by analyzing and interpreting complex data sets. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop creative and compelling data visualizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Design and implement reports in Power BI, create user-friendly reports and dashboards, and continuously improve them.
- Error Analysis and Testing: Analyze and test data consistency and data quality, and document corresponding findings.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with technical and non-technical colleagues to successfully deliver projects.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Proven experience in a data-driven role with expertise in using Excel and/or business intelligence tools.
- Power BI Knowledge: Good knowledge of Power BI and the Power BI Stack.
- SQL Skills: Strong SQL skills, including data extraction and enrichment using advanced functions.
- Relational Databases: Solid foundational understanding of relational databases.
- Data Quality and Exceptions Handling: Strong ability to handle data quality and exceptions.
- Communication and Time Management: Strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to plan and work on multiple projects with differing timescales.
