About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Cardiff, working on a variety of municipal wastewater treatment schemes. As a key member of our process team, you will be responsible for supporting a range of projects, including treatment upgrades for water quality improvements, supporting water company long-term strategies, and assessing new treatment technologies and approaches.

As a Process Engineer, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary design team, collaborating with civil, mechanical, electrical engineers, and construction partners to deliver wastewater treatment schemes from option selection through to commissioning. You will also be responsible for communicating progress and key design decisions to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the development of process design deliverables, including detailed mass balance
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams to deliver wastewater treatment schemes
  • Communicating progress and key design decisions to clients
  • Assessing new treatment technologies and approaches

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in engineering or a related field
  • Experience of working in engineering roles within the water sector
  • Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, including innovative technologies and approaches
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary engineering team
