Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN TEACHING AND LEARNING ASSOCIATE to join our team at Destination Education in Barnet. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized support plans for students with SEN.
  • Provide additional support to students who require extra help in their academic or personal development.
  • Assist in maintaining a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with students/young adults with special educational needs (SEN) preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain confidentiality when required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in SEN support.
  • A DBS check is required for this position.
  • An estimated salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
