Electronics Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Design Engineer to join our team in Colchester. As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the design and testing of new X-Ray and Bond Test products, as well as maintaining existing products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and layout of electrical support systems for X-Ray and Bond Test machinery.
  • Design and documentation of electrical panels, PCBs, and general machine wiring.
  • Basic mechanical design for electro-mechanical elements of machines.
  • Practical electrical and electronic prototyping.
  • Specification, documentation, and management of electrical bills of materials.
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level or demonstrable equivalent experience.
  • Substantial experience (5+ years) of designing Electronic/Electrical Systems in an industrial setting.
  • Experience of designing electromechanical systems (e.g., Robotics, production automation etc.).
  • Extensive experience of designing electrical panels for industrial systems (Circuit breakers, contactors, etc.)
  • CAD experience (preferably AutoCAD, Inventor, Cadstar)
