Scot Lewis Associates is seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Systems Test Engineer to develop and validate testing procedures for electronic systems. As a key member of our team, you will ensure our devices meet top quality, safety, and performance standards before they hit the market.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and develop testing procedures.
- Design and implement automated testing plans to ensure product reliability and durability.
- Conduct stress and environmental tests to assess product performance.
- Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failures and their impacts.
- Test embedded firmware and software, including regression tests.
- Document test plans and results, and present comprehensive reports.
- Log and track defects using issue tracking tools.
- Design mechanical components using CAD software.
- Prepare technical documentation.
**Requirements:**
- Proficiency in Jira and MS Office.
- Knowledge of circuit design, electronic components, and microcontrollers.
- Familiarity with materials science and mechanical design using CAD SolidWorks.
- Basic signal processing and data analysis skills.
- Python experience (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-Learn).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
