Job Title: Electromechanical Systems Test Engineer

**Job Overview:**

Scot Lewis Associates is seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Systems Test Engineer to develop and validate testing procedures for electronic systems. As a key member of our team, you will ensure our devices meet top quality, safety, and performance standards before they hit the market.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and develop testing procedures.
  • Design and implement automated testing plans to ensure product reliability and durability.
  • Conduct stress and environmental tests to assess product performance.
  • Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failures and their impacts.
  • Test embedded firmware and software, including regression tests.
  • Document test plans and results, and present comprehensive reports.
  • Log and track defects using issue tracking tools.
  • Design mechanical components using CAD software.
  • Prepare technical documentation.

**Requirements:**

  • Proficiency in Jira and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of circuit design, electronic components, and microcontrollers.
  • Familiarity with materials science and mechanical design using CAD SolidWorks.
  • Basic signal processing and data analysis skills.
  • Python experience (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-Learn).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
