We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/MIG-Tig Welder to join our team at Retrack Personnel Holdings Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of light to medium gauge steel in line with detailed engineering drawings provided.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Read, interpret and follow engineering plans, drawings and instructions to ensure exact specifications of output
  • Be competent in the use of engineering machinery (guillotine, press brake, powered rolls etc.)
  • Undertake Tig, Mig & MMA welding procedures in both stainless steel and mild Steel
  • Undertake grinding/polishing of fabricated items by using various handheld tools and/or dedicated material finishing machinery
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet required standard
  • Ensure production times are met
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures
  • Maintain machinery and tools using preventative maintenance methods
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Essentials:

  • Fabrication and/or Welding qualification or time served apprenticeship
  • Experience of working in a fabrication environment
