Care Team Leader Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Runwood Homes. As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for planning and implementing care that gives our residents a real sense of security, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of Care Assistants to maintain the highest standards of care
  • Maintaining accurate records and building strong relationships with effective communication
  • Assisting the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in providing essential physical and mental care
  • Administering medication and carrying out medication audits

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or willingness to achieve this
  • Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia
  • Experience in leading a team to deliver care
