Job Overview:
Carrington West is seeking an experienced Highways Health & Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across local authority projects. This exciting opportunity allows a seasoned professional to ensure that critical infrastructure projects are delivered safely and in compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement robust health & safety policies, ensuring all practices align with legislative requirements. Conduct thorough risk assessments, audits, and site inspections, identifying potential hazards and implementing preventative measures. Collaborate with local authorities, contractors, and project teams to foster a strong safety culture. Provide expert advice on health & safety during the planning, design, and execution stages of highways projects.

Candidate Requirements:
A proven track record in health & safety management within the highways or infrastructure sector is essential. In-depth knowledge of UK health & safety regulations is also required. A NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification is necessary for this role.
