Job Summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Administrator to support our client, Lincolnshire Police, in their headquarters in Nettleham. As an Occupational Health Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining occupational health files, providing reception services for medicals, and supporting the Health & Care team in delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date occupational health files, both electronically and in paper format, in line with departmental guidelines.
  • Undertake retention and disposal checks as required, ensuring compliance with data protection laws.
  • Request further medical evidence, ensuring written consent is in place, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Provide reception services for medicals, supporting clinicians and maintaining a highly confidential environment.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external queries, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Support resource planning by overseeing existing and future demands on the team, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Attend meetings and take minutes for publication, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Deputise for the Office Manager as required, ensuring service continuity and maintaining high levels of performance.
Requirements
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of data protection laws and the importance of confidentiality in a healthcare setting.
  • Self-motivated and focused on achieving high levels of performance, with a positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
  • Tactful, diplomatic, and approachable, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Flexible and able to operate within deadlines, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan, prioritise, and coordinate work effectively.
