About the Role:

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our team in Europe. As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and forecasting global oil markets, focusing on supply and demand trends in the medium term (five-year) time frame.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of global oil markets, identifying trends and patterns that impact supply and demand.
  • Develop and maintain complex models to forecast oil market trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication of oil market outlooks.
  • Present oil market outlooks to customers and stakeholders, providing clear and concise analysis and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or MA degree in economics, engineering, business administration, or similar field.
  • Minimum six years of work experience for BA degree (four years for MA degree) in oil demand analysis, macroeconomic/energy demand research, oil refining, oil industry consulting, investment banking, equity research or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent communication skills in oral and written English.
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel and other database tools.
  • Excellent at data mining and data visualization with available software programs.
  • Experience covering global oil markets.
  • Experience in modeling and programming languages.
