We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse Practitioner to join our Outpatient team at the London Bridge Hospital campus, which has been rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of practice and care through effective monitoring of own and others clinical competence. They will also be required to manage the Outpatients Department on a day-to-day basis, considering the agreed budget and complying with the workforce planning objectives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in a hospital setting, with a strong background in nursing and leadership. They will also have a proven track record of managing clinical areas and teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the Outpatients Department on a day-to-day basis
  • Ensure the highest quality of practice and care through effective monitoring of own and others clinical competence
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and experience
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin
  • Mentorship Training-Teaching and Assessing
  • ILS
  • Extensive experience working in a hospital setting
  • Experience/Evidence of managing the clinical area-Outpatients
  • Work within the latest NMC Code of Professional Conduct
  • Evidence of updating clinical skills/knowledge
  • Evidence of professional and personal development
  • Proficient in IT
  • Knowledge of Governance
