About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Intersect Global. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our business by preparing accurate and competitive tender packages for our clients in the water and marine sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret project briefs and develop pricing schedules that capture all required scope
  • Conduct thorough research to determine the cost of materials, transport, labor, and equipment
  • Visit sites with suppliers and contractors to obtain quotes and assess their feasibility
  • Liaise with the project controls team to build a tender program that ensures adequate project preliminaries are applied
  • Collaborate with the supply chain to obtain quotes and negotiate prices

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in estimating and tendering for civil engineering projects
