Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Stirling Warrington. As a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing large industrial machines, including die-presses, vacuum/arc furnaces, plasma welders, and machine shop equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair industrial machinery, including hydraulic systems, gearboxes, conveyors, and cylinders
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspection
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and implement repairs as needed
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure smooth operation of the manufacturing process

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a mechanical maintenance engineer in a heavy industry environment
  • Level 3 qualification and apprenticeship served, or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, gearboxes, conveyors, and cylinders
  • Ability to fabricate and weld
