We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Support Practitioner to join our team at Cornerstone Community Care in Stonehaven. This role offers a chance to work with a small, close-knit team, providing support to individuals with learning disabilities, and making a real difference in their lives.

As a Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing support with daily living activities, including cooking, cleaning, finances, and medication. You will also have the opportunity to be creative and enthusiastic, supporting your clients' hobbies and interests, such as gardening, cooking, baking, arts & crafts, going for walks, and getting out and about in their local community.

**Job Description:**

Job Title: Support Practitioner

Reports to: Team Leader

Location: Stonehaven

Hours: Part-time (20-30 hours per week)

Job Type: Permanent

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide support with daily living activities, including cooking, cleaning, finances, and medication
  • Assist clients with hobbies and interests, such as gardening, cooking, baking, arts & crafts, going for walks, and getting out and about in their local community
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide high-quality support, tailored to the needs of each individual
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

**Requirements:**

  • Caring attitude and approach
  • Good listening and communication skills
  • Positive approach to learning
  • Understanding of the importance of routines and guidelines
  • Ability to cook (baking would be a bonus too)

Please note that a full driving license is desirable but not essential.
