Procurement Role at Church & Dwight UK Ltd

A dynamic and ambitious individual is sought to join our European Procurement team as a Buyer or Senior Buyer. The successful candidate will have a passion for negotiation, analytical skills, and a desire to take the next step in their Procurement career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring optimal performance and cost savings.
  • Represent Procurement on internal projects, managing costs and timescales to meet project needs.
  • Utilize SAP to maintain supplier prices and resolve price variances.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to drive strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Pharma or FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering year-over-year cost improvements through effective procurement strategies.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including manufacturing and packaging technologies.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

This role involves frequent travel within the UK and Europe. The right individual will have the opportunity to progress into a Senior Buyer role following training.
