Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a 'Good' Primary School to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant. This role will commence immediately and initially run for a half-term, with the potential for extension.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a school that values its staff and provides a supportive environment. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and enhancing the learning experience of the students.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a Primary School setting and be passionate about education. You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with children, teachers, and parents.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting the class teacher in the delivery of lessons
  • Providing support to students on a 1:1 basis to target phonics, maths, reading, and writing abilities
  • Working across both classes to encourage a positive attitude to learning
  • Contributing to the management of behaviour

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the National Curriculum and be confident in following the school's behavioural policy. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect a competitive hourly rate of £12.90 - £13.50, inclusive of statutory holiday pay. We also offer a range of benefits, including access to child protection training and assistance with DBS checks.
