Legislative Counselor

We are seeking a highly experienced Contract and Commercial Attorney to join our team at West Bromwich Albion. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice on commercial law and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Our ideal candidate will have significant post-qualification experience as a solicitor, with a strong understanding of contract and commercial law. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

Responsibilities:

• Advise on commercial law and regulations
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with external parties
• Manage risk and ensure compliance with relevant laws and guidelines
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives
• Develop and implement effective processes and procedures to optimize transaction efficiency

Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor with significant post-qualification experience
• Solid understanding of contract and commercial law
• Experience in negotiating contracts and managing risk
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

This role is based at The Hawthorns, Birmingham Road, West Bromwich, B71 4LF, but may require occasional travel to other locations as needed. A full driving license is required for this position.
