About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that we meet all applicable statutory, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that policies, procedures, guidelines, infrastructures, systems, and processes meet and continue to meet applicable statutory, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage the company's risk processes, assessments, and register.
  • Support in administering statutory, regulatory, and compliance requirements, including compiling responses to regulators.
  • Responsible for internal compliance monitoring processes and ensuring audits are conducted on a timely basis.
  • Resolve regulatory and compliance issues and drive continuous quality improvement.
  • Manage document control requests in accordance with quality department operating procedures.
  • Support internal teams to maintain compliance with existing regulations and manage key regulatory changes.
  • Manage Elexon & SEC external auditing of the Supply business.
  • Provide/develop analysis, including economic analysis relating to policy responses to RFIs/consultations.
  • Support training manager to design compliance training.
  • Develop robust compliance monitoring process ensuring compliance audits are carried out.
  • Create suite of compliance policies for the Energy business.

Requirements:

  • 3 years' experience in compliance: Required.
  • Working in the Energy industry in a similar role: 3 years (Required).

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum
