Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographs of patients using computed tomography scanners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address patient concerns to ensure patient comfort and confidence.
- Operate and maintain imaging department equipment, including tomography scanners.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Administer medications within your scope of practice as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
- Complete quality assurance processes and practice radiation safety to reduce exposure to patients, staff, and yourself.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a CT Technologist
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of radiology technology
- Certification in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a CT Technologist
