About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Project Engineer to join our team at Service Care Solutions. As an Instrumentation Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the full life-cycle management of chemical plant instrumentation projects from conceptualization to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the design, installation, and commissioning of instrumentation systems, including level, flow, temperature, pressure, and mass instrumentation.
- Develop and implement management of change systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all instrumentation systems, including modifications, repairs, and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance and total productive maintenance programs to ensure optimal system performance.
Requirements:
- Hold a recognized Instrumentation Apprenticeship and be educated to HNC Level as a minimum.
- Several years' experience managing instrumentation projects within the chemical process or similar regulated industry sector.
- Previous experience working on a Higher or Lower Tier COMAH site is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of instrumentation aspects of DSEAR/ATEX compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of instrumentation documents, including Loop Drawings, I/O Lists, P&ID's, Network Architecture Diagrams, Bill of Quantities, and Equipment Schedules.
- Good understanding of control, safety systems, and functional safety standards IEC61508 and IEC61511.
- Experience working to ISO9001 standards.
