About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MES Consultant to join our Digital Enterprise Solutions (DES) Department at Tata Technologies. As a MES Consultant, you will play a key role in driving and supporting the implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for large manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement end-to-end MES solutions, including technical design and performance models for downstream communication systems.
  • Develop and maintain interface definitions during the execution phase for MES suppliers.
  • Coordinate deployment models and user acceptance testing with various on-shore and off-shore technical resources.
  • Develop and commission MES components, including business requirement analysis.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of Manufacturing Systems and Plant Floor Systems.
  • Strong knowledge of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) concepts in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of the Automotive Business Operating Model.
  • Experience with queue-based communication to external systems.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of PLC, SCADA Systems, and Proficy Suite Products (Cimplicity, Workflow, Historian).
  • Understanding of OPC, MQTT, and AMQP protocols.
  • Experience with RDBMS, writing optimized SQL queries, and database optimization.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, BitBucket, Docker, and MoM implementation for Automotive.
