Clinical Psychiatric Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Ty Einon Centre, where you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on the Eating Disorder Service.
This is a fixed-term position designed for doctors working towards their Portfolio Pathway (CESR) application. You will have the opportunity to develop your career with educational support and guidance from a Consultant who has completed the Portfolio Pathway process.
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will work closely with colleagues in Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Adult Primary and Adult Community Mental Health Teams to ensure a seamless approach to patient care.
- Be medically qualified, MRC Psych or equivalent
- Be innovative and imaginative with the ability to initiate service improvement
- Have an excellent understanding of current developments in psychiatry and other aspects of mental health
- Have substantial knowledge of change management, relevant legislation, contemporary issues in mental health, knowledge of and experience in purchaser/provider contractual issues
