Postdoctoral Fellow in Statistics - Non-Reversible MCMC

We are recruiting a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team at Lancaster University, UK, and contribute to the development of innovative methodologies in non-reversible Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC).

About the Role:

This senior research associate position involves working closely with Dr Chris Sherlock and members of the team at the National University of Singapore and the University of Glasgow to develop new, efficient non-reversible algorithms.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing novel non-reversible MCMC algorithms.

What We Are Looking For:

We seek a motivated individual with a strong background in statistics and programming, including experience in MCMC methods and software development.

Our Salary Range:

The salary for this position is between £33,000 and £39,000 per annum, depending on experience.
