About the Role

As a Perioperative Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our theatres. You will provide skilled assistance to medical staff during the administration, maintenance, and termination of general regional or local anaesthetics.

The Trust

We are a friendly and supportive learning environment with developmental opportunities, within an innovative and dynamic team. Our theatre complex comprises of twenty theatre suites with four recovery units, divided into specific specialties across three departments, including a unique ring-fenced Elective Orthopaedic unit.

Specialties

We deliver excellent patient experience and quality of care, with patient safety at the forefront of our practice. Our specialties include General and Emergency Surgery, Bariatric, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Gynaecology and Obstetrics and Urology, ENT and Ophthalmology as well as Robotic Surgery.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer in-depth in-house and external development opportunities and support for career progression. In return, we expect you to contribute to the effective day-to-day operation of the Trust's theatres.
