Job Summary

Talent Torch is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Archaeology Consultant to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our expanding team, you will be responsible for providing expert consultancy advice on archaeology and heritage matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert consultancy advice on archaeology and heritage matters to clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage high-quality assessments and heritage statements to support environmental assessments.
  • Collaborate with our EIA team to integrate heritage considerations into environmental assessments.
  • Manage projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Mentor and support junior staff to develop their skills and expertise.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in archaeology and heritage consultancy, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to working arrangements.
