About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Analyst to join our IT Systems team at Barbour. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of our product development systems and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Analysis: Analyze business requirements and lead discovery workshops with stakeholders to produce specification documents and user stories that meet the needs of our customers and business.
  • Solution Design: Work with SaaS solutions, software providers, systems integrators, and our development team to design solutions, proposals, and design specifications that meet functional requirements.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Take delivery of changes, releases, and solutions, ensure function compliance to requirements, smoke test, lead end-to-end testing, and UAT.
  • Change Management: Assess change impacts, follow release and change management processes, and manage stakeholder communication to successful go-live.
  • Integration and Support: Work with the integration team to change and deliver integrations to our product and marketing systems, provide 3rd-level support and assistance to our operational support team, and support the business with data queries, extracts, and analysis.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Management: Maintain strong system and knowledgebase documentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Computer Science degree or equivalent training and experience.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced SQL language skills, experience in supporting and enhancing Product Lifecycle Management systems (PLM), ideally Centric PLM, experience in supporting and enhancing Product Information Systems, experience in B2B portals, and experience in apparel/fashion.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to manage, troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve critical data issues in a structured manner, skilled at influencing, guiding, and facilitating stakeholders and peers, ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, and ability to work creatively and analytically to solve business problems and propose solutions.
