Senior Lifeguard Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lifeguard to oversee our lifeguard team at Southbury Leisure Centre in Enfield. As a Senior Lifeguard, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring junior lifeguards, ensuring the highest level of customer safety and pool environment cleanliness.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and social skills, with a natural ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. You will be responsible for maintaining and preparing pool areas and equipment, and ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor lifeguards
  • Ensure pool safety and cleanliness
  • Prepare and maintain pool equipment
  • Communicate effectively with customers and staff
  • Attend regular pool training sessions

Requirements:

  • Valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and up-to-date training records
  • Excellent communication and social skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols
