We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a group of SEN children with complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, and social/emotional mental health issues.

The successful candidate will have a degree or level 3 qualification and experience working with Special Educational Needs. The role will entail supporting the individual needs of SEN children, including those with ADHD, ASD, global delay, SEMH, physical, and behavioural challenges.

The ideal candidate will be able to use effective behaviour management strategies to monitor and diffuse difficult situations. This is a great opportunity for aspiring teachers to gain valuable experience in preparation for completing their teacher training the following year.

We offer a competitive daily rate of £83-£90, depending on experience. This is a one-year contract, and the school requires someone with experience in and understanding of a challenging but rewarding SEN teaching assistant position.

The school is a teacher training school, and the successful candidate can be enrolled on to the School's Direct Teacher Training Programme.
