About the Position

We are looking for a skilled Language Curriculum Developer to join our team at Avanti. As a key member of our education team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the curriculum and ensuring that it meets the needs of our students.

In this role, you will develop and implement high-quality Spanish lessons, promoting cultural awareness and fostering a love for language learning among our students.

You will work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure that every student reaches their full potential, maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Spanish lessons, aligning with the National Curriculum.
  • Assess student progress, identifying areas for improvement and setting realistic targets.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, participating in departmental meetings and contributing to the development of curriculum and assessments.
  • Engage with parents, providing regular updates on student progress and collaborating on strategies for student success.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, ensuring compliance with school policies and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Qualification to teach Spanish or related subject
  • Experience in developing and implementing curriculum
  • Ability to create and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development

Salary and Benefits:

  • £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience
