Description

DataTech Analytics is seeking a highly experienced Data Manager to join our Data Strategy team in London. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a competitive salary and hybrid working arrangement.

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Data Manager to lead our Customer Data Platform (CDP) migration and support data and technology requirements necessary for our marketing data strategy. As a key member of our Data Strategy team, you will be responsible for defining business design and data requirements, providing subject matter expertise on data governance and best-practice principles, and leading user acceptance testing of our CDP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define business design and data requirements, including requirements to support marketing activities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on data governance and best-practice principles to inform delivery priorities and scheduling.
  • Translate business requirements to technical requirements and vice versa.
  • Lead user acceptance testing of CDP, ensuring it meets business requirements and expectations.
  • Champion the rollout of data solutions within EMEA region and act as an ambassador for adoption and utilization.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for EMEA team regarding all matters related to the Customer Data Platform (CDP).
  • Serve as business point of contact for queries regarding data landscape and integrations, which includes intimate knowledge of data dictionary and data feeds.
  • Act as the data governance owner for the EMEA CIX function, ensuring compliance with data policies and regulations.
  • Define and monitor KPIs related to data quality to ensure accuracy and reliability of data and marketing insights.
  • Work with wide array of internal and external stakeholders to communicate requirements clearly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data management, marketing analytics or related field, with a strong understanding of marketing data governance principles and practices.
  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and other marketing technology solutions is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and practices, with experience in ensuring compliance with data regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA).
  • Technical experience in SQL, Python, etc.
