Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Specialist to join our team as an Industrial Infrastructure Engineering Lead. This role involves developing and implementing solutions that facilitate IT/OT convergence, integrating operational technology systems with IT infrastructure to enable efficient and secure data exchange between control systems and enterprise development networks.

This position requires strong background in integrating IT and OT systems, particularly with ICS systems like SCADA and PLCs in industrial settings. Proven experience in managing IT assets, Windows Server and Red Hat Linux environments, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) is essential. A solid understanding of cybersecurity practices, vulnerability management for IT and OT systems, and experience in regulated industries with strict compliance requirements are also required.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of networking protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus) and experience in designing, deploying, and securing industrial control system networks. The role offers a competitive salary of £70,000-£89,000 plus bonus and benefits. As a permanent employee, you will be part of a dynamic team providing expert services to the defence industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • IT/OT Integration Expertise: Strong background in integrating IT and OT systems, particularly with ICS systems like SCADA and PLCs in industrial settings.
  • Infrastructure Management: Proven experience in managing IT assets, Windows Server and Red Hat Linux environments, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Cybersecurity and Compliance: Solid understanding of cybersecurity practices, vulnerability management for IT and OT systems, and experience in regulated industries with strict compliance requirements.
