Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ecologist to join our team as a Seasonal Ecologist. The role involves assisting senior ecologists, design teams, and project managers in ecology and biodiversity surveys and assessments.

The ideal candidate will have strong report writing and data analysis skills, with the ability to work both alone and as an assistant. They should also be confident in their commercial knowledge and be familiar with relevant legislation and policy.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and gain experience in a dynamic and growing consultancy. You will work closely with our Director of Ecology and senior ecologists, assisting with site surveys, data processing, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with habitat and species surveys;
  2. Assist with report writing;
  3. Carry out desk studies, consultations, research, data management and analysis;
  4. Assist with health and safety risk assessment;
  5. Help with the day-to-day efficient running of the team and taking on some wider responsibilities.
