About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Precision Metalworker to join our team at Leicester Metals. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality metal components and structures, working closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure timely project completion.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in metalworking techniques, welding, and the use of fabrication tools and machinery. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine material requirements and dimensions.
  • Use various tools and equipment to cut and shape metal materials according to specifications.
  • Perform welding operations using techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding.
  • Assemble metal components and structures, ensuring proper alignment and fit.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in metalworking techniques, welding, and fabrication tool usage.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
